My Story & Philosophy
When I was pregnant with my son, I saw the HUGE gap that exists in our prenatal care system when it comes to food and nutrition. When you're pregnant, you're growing another human. You're growing a placenta, bones, a heart, a brain, etc. The foods you eat have the nutrients and ingredients to grow these important organs. And how these organs are formed can impact your baby's long-term health, influencing their risk for chronic diseases in adulthood.​

The nutrition info you get during pregnancy is minimal. "Take a prenatal. Don't eat deli meat. Stay hydrated. Avoid alcohol and caffeine." So maybe you start googling and spiraling and feeling confused about it all.

This all lit a fire in me. I had to do something, so I started my business - to help you! Your midwife doesn't have the time (or education) to give you personalized, 1 on 1 support. To answer all your questions about food and nutrition. To help you take control of your nausea and vomiting through food rather than meds.

I am here to give you that 1 to 1 support. To hold your hand through the process. Pregnancy is beautiful, but it can also be scary, overwhelming and draining. Especially if you're always nauseous and vomiting. Don't be afraid to ask for help. I want you to have the best possible pregnancy. I don't want you to look back and say you hated your pregnancy and you were so glad when it was over.

My philosophy when it comes to nutrition is an "all foods fit" approach. I also believe in the health at every size movement and love intuitive eating. We will focus on ALL of you. Your health is not just about nutrition. Your mental and physical health are also really important during pregnancy. I provide a holistic approach and also focus on your sleep, stress and physical activity.
